Fletcher: Break Isn't Timely For United

Only a blip? Hopefully. But two defeats and three red cards indicate that all is not well within United - however, the players are eager to make amends, according to Darren Fletcher who does not relish the international break.

"We would have liked another game straight away to respond to a couple of difficult games," he said.

"We would have been desperate for another league game.

"But I think Liverpool would have been wanting the league to continue, so you never know. We just have to deal with it."

Yeah, the optimist says: break or no break we can't get worse - we'll have to get better. But we can hope the international fixtures will take Liverpool's momentum away. Or even if they don't we can start winning our games. Because amid all the doom and gloom you mustn't forget that the title is still in our hands.
