Once again, Sky rules: United will have to play Aston Villa on Sunday, April 5 despite having a Champions League fixture only two days later.
It was assumed - the official website of the club noted it as well - that should United be involved on Tuesday the Villa game will be moved back to Saturday. However, the Premier League have indicated that the game will go ahead as planned.
I'm surprised it's kept so quiet: not a word about it from Fergie who could once again show that he's got plenty of reason to complain about fixtures. This is an outrage, forcing us to play 48 hours before a Champions League clash...
In Italy or Spain, Champions League participants always play on Saturday on the preceding weekend. It's only England where the best team of the country is milked so shamelessly by a greedy TV company where, it seems, the executives are not interested in the health of the players...
