Scheduling Of The Villa Fixture Is Outrageous

Scheduling Of The Villa Fixture Is Outrageous

Once again, Sky rules: United will have to play Aston Villa on Sunday, April 5 despite having a Champions League fixture only two days later.

It was assumed - the official website of the club noted it as well - that should United be involved on Tuesday the Villa game will be moved back to Saturday. However, the Premier League have indicated that the game will go ahead as planned.

I'm surprised it's kept so quiet: not a word about it from Fergie who could once again show that he's got plenty of reason to complain about fixtures. This is an outrage, forcing us to play 48 hours before a Champions League clash...

In Italy or Spain, Champions League participants always play on Saturday on the preceding weekend. It's only England where the best team of the country is milked so shamelessly by a greedy TV company where, it seems, the executives are not interested in the health of the players...

They saw that you basically got a bye in the champions league so whats the point in moving it? You'd beat Porto if your players had to run a marathon on the morning of the game. I agree it shouldnt happen but it does happen when youre competing for several trophies, and not just to United.

United fan in "whinge" shock. How come you havnt had a go at any refs? Every time United dont get 3 points its down to the refs, or the time of the kick off, or the day the game was played on. Or the weather. I reckon you should ask your sports science department to find out how many whiskeys old red nose has downed since we hammered you 4-1 at Old Toilet.

its the price you pay for success mate! if you want this success, which means alot of games in the final months, the fixtures will stack up heavy and fast towards the end of the season wont they. would you rather this - the success - was not the case?
thought not...

Ah yes, yoonited reverting to typical behaviour - your season begins to implode and of course it's not your fault - it's those nasty people at Sky sports who have quite clearly rigged the fixtures to deny United there "deserved" glory. Quite pathetic, but yoonited fans just don't get it do you?
