'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vidic Is An Attacking Threat Now

Two fine goals. Almost flawless defensive work. Plenty of attacking threat. All this against the reigning champions and current runaway leaders of the Serie A. What else can we ask for?

Still, Fergie, the fans and Nemanja Vidic all agree that there is room for improvement for United after yesterday's 'suicide football' of the first half.

'Liverpool is the next big game we must play, and they are in good form, full of confidence. They had a great win against Madrid,' Vidic said.

'But we're at home in front of our crowd, and I think, I hope we are going to be much better than we were against Inter.

'We will definitely try to improve, to erase the mistakes we made and play better against Liverpool.'

An early goal would be invaluable again and even with all the magnificent strikers we possess Vidic is definitely among our most dangerous players. He's scored seven goals this season, four in the Premier League and only the Ronaldo-Rooney-Berbatov-Tevez quartet notched more than him.

And in big games at home he invariably scores: Chelsea's and Inter's resistence was broken by the Serbian who must have given Benitez cause for concern, especially as Liverpool's greatest weakness is defending crosses.

Another Vidic goal to open the scoring? Yes please, it'll do fine.

No one is immune to a set-piece goal including us. Ronaldo is better in the air than any of their defenders even

Ronaldo better than their defenders? Well, FU Aurelio took a peach of a free kick, ROnaldo took 4 attempts and managed to hit the wall each time. And yeah, brilliant defending. Joke of a first goal. Terrible defending by Evra for the second (penalty), superb defending by Vidic for the fiurth (free kick) and amazing defending by Ferdinand (He did not bring the ball down!) for Dossena's lob. I agree, good defending. Har har.
