If I was smug I could tell you that I told you so... oh, I did it anyway. So, as we expected, O'Shea and Ferdinand will play against Inter as both have been declared fit.

'Ferdinand and O'Shea trained today for the first time which was important. Both are fit and both will play,' Fergie revealed.

Which is not unexpected. Let's pray that nothing happens until tomorrow night because approaching a Champions League tie with a proper defence - Vidic and Rio are both fit and neither is suspended! - is very unusual.

Oh, and everyone else is fit as well, apart from our three right-backs, Gary Neville, Wes Brown and Rafael.
