The iPod Hero Set For New United Deal!

Manchester United have won the Carling Cup because of Ben Foster's iPod: the 25-year-old goalkeeper used it to quickly analyze Spurs' players' penalty-taking before the shootout. It worked and Ben Foster became the hero.

Now the Mail claim that he'll be offered a new four-year deal as his existing contract runs out in 16 months' time. Fergie praised him to the heavens while Foster himself sees a future at Old Trafford for himself.

"I want to stay here for as long as I can," he said.

"It`s the biggest club in the world. At 25 I am still young for a goalkeeper so hopefully, I`ll have a decade or more here and I want this to be the first of many more trophies to come my way.

"Edwin has been fantastic this season. You have to look at his record of clean sheets. I wouldn`t have thought one final will lead to a run of games for me. I`m always confident when I get the chance to play - which isn`t too often at the moment so I just have to keep going.'

Does Ben Foster have it in him to become United's first choice keeper?
