'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fergie Curbs Expectations

United won the Carling Cup; all the talk is about the quintuple again. It's beginning to become embarassing and Fergie's right to play down the chances of it.

'I'm not getting carried away with it, only the media will. We will keep our feet on the ground.

'We could go to Fulham in the FA Cup, the ball comes off someone's backside and we are out of that one.'

Then there's still the small matter of beating Inter in the Champions League and though we're very close, we haven't won the league yet. It will take a major collapse but it can happen.

Let us cherish the present, savour the feeling of winning another trophy!
