I'll write more about the Carling Cup final tomorrow but for now, the most important information is that WE HAVE WON IT! It wasn't the best game of the season but no flaws can be found about our penalties and it was enough in the end.

United now have FIVE trophies in the cabinet: we've added the Community Shield, the World Club Championship trophy and the Carling Cup to the Premier League and Champions League trophies. There's hardly any more space in United's trophy room!

This bunch of players won practically everything that can be possibly won. Only the FA Cup (and the European Super Cup) remained elusive so far... but we're still alive in that competition as well. Would you have thought, back in 2006, that we're about to enter such a gloriously golden era? Savour it because what this group is doing is historic.

I won't call it a fantastic performance,a hard working one would be appropriate.But the end result is the most important thing.Anyways congratulations to the whole squad all utd supporters around the world.UP THE DEVILS!!!

Also I would like to mention that this utd team can mix it up unlike others,if we have to battle or if we have to play with flair,we can do it with too many problems and thats why I think this season could be very special,we could even win the five on offer but for that luck will have to play some role in getting us there.

Yes, people always go on about the strength of the squad but really, on paper it's not that fabulous, individually. Somehow Fergie can mix our many players to maximum effect though.
