The whole ABU brigade seems to have scored a huge own goal by deciding to boo Ronaldo whenever he touches the ball - because the player himself thrives on it!
"It`s normal for me now. If it doesn`t happen, I`m thinking, 'Why aren`t they booing?`
"It`s part of football. Maybe they think if they boo I`ll lose my concentration — but it doesn`t happen because I like it."
So his more modest form this season is down to the boo boys' tiredness: they just can't seem to keep up their good work. Shame because the combination worked flawlessly in the past two seasons. They were booing, Ronaldo was scoring.
