Scolari Cuddles Benitez's Ego

Now Luiz Felipe Scolari, who seemed a relatively decent bloke so far, has also joined the club started by Rafa Benitez. It looks like the club's most important aim is to get under the skin of Fergie - though what Rafa managed so far was that he fired United up while destroying the confidence of his own players.

However, Chelsea boss Scolari revealed that he understands why Rafa made his mad rant about 'facthes' - he might be the only non-Liverpool supporter in the country who does!

'It's one of his ideas and I haven't spoken to him about it,' he said.

'Maybe I will at the weekend. I understand. I understand very well.

'I understand that, sometimes, when we play there [at Old Trafford] and at Stamford Bridge, I know what happens.'

Lovely. Does he remember what HAPPENED at Old Trafford? I do not just mean the absolutely humiliating 3-0 defeat but the two more goals wrongly chalked off and one perfectly obvious penalty that was denied. And no, it wasn't Chelsea who won 3-0 and it wasn't Chelsea who were on the wrong end of these refereeing decisions.

In one way it's sickening to see his sudden love for Rafa, but mostly it's overwhelmingly hilarious. I hope their great friendship will yield a boring 0-0 draw on Sunday - we would be laughing all the way to the 3rd consecutive title while they would be exchanging conspiracy theories.
