'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Were You Watching Merseyside?

Well, Rafa's Rant backfired quite spectacularly. And I love it. The man, after talking about United being nervous, oversaw a disjointed, spineless, unimaginative display at Stoke which saw Liverpool drop two points - then had to witness majestic United crushing Chelsea in style.

And the manner must have hurt him a lot. Because he had to see that the goal scored from the corner trick was perfectly legitimate. He had to see Ronaldo was onside. He had to see that we should have had a penalty. And yet we still won 3-0, despite the referee's performance flying straight in the face of everything he said in his stupid press conference.

His words might have influenced Webb who seemed to lean towards Chelsea - but United laughed off this minor inconvenience and rendered any discussion about the referee unnecessary. I do talk about him, yes - because it feels great to point out, yet again, that the Spanish has been speaking out of his arse.

A wonderful, perfect weekend. Benitez's hilarious symptom of mental imbalance followed by Liverpool's equally hilarious symptom of incompetence then a great performance against a dire Chelsea team - brilliant. The tide has turned this weekend? Hopefully.

Wondering if Benitez could give us such a rant EVERY WEEK! ;)
ForeverUnited
One, a calm considered speech is not a rant. Two, wait until a decision goes against you and watch the backlash when Mr Ferguson does his normal toy throwing. Three, the title hasn't turned, we are still top and you haven't won those points yet. Four, why is it mind games when Mr Ferguson spouts crap but a rant when a rival manager replies? Five, is how many European cups we have won and the source of your jealousy.

Wait until a decision goes against us? Two perfectly legitimate goals ruled out; a penalty not given. That's three decisions against us in one game and the fact we still destroyed Chelsea should not mask that Webb was appalling. As you'd know if you 1) watched the game 2) read the article.

And looking at the fixtures, I seem to be wrong. The tide has been turning for a while as Liverpool won only three out of their last eight fixtures and draws against Hull, Stoke, Fulham and West Ham must have been unexpected for them... in the meantime, United won 6 out of 8, drew the other two and haven't conceded a single goal in the process.

KB1 - YOU call that calm?? Source of our jealousy? Jealous of your has-been club!? Sorry but thats just nonsense!
ForeverUnited
Yes you are jealous. Why else is 80% of your songbook about us, all your t-shirts etc. It gets to you that we are more successfull. This has been of a club as you put are ahead of you historically and currently. Honestly, is it no wonder we laugh and mock you so.

Wow i love how the Liverpool fans follow us everywhere on the net commenting on everything, do they not follow there club or just obsess about what United are up to? Fact is, Rafa is a ranting idiot who should've shut his mouth at a crucial point in the season. He didn't and now we're all laughing at the plonker. Couldn't have wrote it better myself.
