Watch this video. You'll see that Rooney puts the ball down, then gently rolls it forward... Giggs jogs down, takes it over and suddenly crosses, Ronaldo arrives to head home... and the goal is ruled out because the official missed the trick.
It's a shame as this should have opened the scoring against Chelsea and it was a very creative trick, one first tried by AS Roma - now it worked, and in a big game, in a big moment.
Well, at least it gives Mr. Benitez something to think about. We had two goals taken away wrongly yet won 3-0...
