Keep It Brief Fergie - They Can't Understand You!

Keep It Brief Fergie - They Can't Understand You!

Nemanja Vidic revealed news which were hardly astonishing: he can't understand Fergie's Scottish accent!

"I had problems at the beginning to understand him well.

"He`s been here more than 20 years but he has preserved the thick Scottish accent.

"A lot of players don`t catch what he`s saying, especially foreign players, but our results confirm he is getting the message across.

"When I came here I didn`t speak the language. I mastered it in the dressing room as I was forced.

"What I didn`t understand I asked someone to explain to me."

Fergie himself had admitted earlier that his Scottish accents caused problems when he first talked with Eric Cantona. Then there was the summer interview with that Danish website where they misquoted him about Berbatov - we can draw the conclusion that any foreigner finds Sir Alex incredibly difficult to understand. No surprise, really.

Vidic also admitted that journalists made his life easier by being so fantastically boring that he quickly learned how to give a standard interview.

"Questions are always similar and you quickly learn to communicate. Key words are 'three points`, 'win` and 'trophies`.'

Good one. He also added that fortunately, Sir Alex keeps teamtalks brief and gets to the point quickly - which is a blessing.
