Mourinho's On The Warpath Already - Is He Afraid?
Oh dear. I would say I missed him but it wouldn't be true - and even if it was, his latest remark would have sobered me. I'm talking about Jose Mourinho, of course, who revealed his opinion about Nemanja Vidic's likely ban.
As you probably know, the Serbian defender was sent off in the World Club Championship final against LDU Quito for an elbow and though United dominated even with ten men the repercussions could be severe: the defender is bound to get a suspension that he'll have to serve in the next UEFA-organised games which will be the Champions League knockout games.
Our next opposition is, of course, Inter Milan and their boss, the ever loveable Mourinho is clearly not eager to face the Serbinator.
'I'd be surprised if Vidic didn't get at least two matches - which wouldn't even be much for a gesture like that, during a match seen by the whole world.'
And during a tournament in which Inter did not participate - what would Mourinho say if he could not field Ibrahimovic against us because of a red card picked up in Coppa Italia?
Is Mourinho afraid of us, that's why he's starting these petty psychological games with so much time before the game? I don't know but on current form we'd have little chance against a more hungry and motivated Inter side so he need not worry. Though he's clever enough to know that current form can change, and very rapidly...
