Rafael's The Present And The Future Now

It is difficult to imagine Gary Neville ever regaining his place in our starting line-up as young Rafael is absolutely outstanding - absolutely uenxpectedly.

'Gary and Wes have a little problem because this young boy Rafael has really taken off,' Fergie said.

'It is rare for someone to come through like he has done.'

Indeed, and though Fergie advised Capello that United have the best English right-backs, it still looks like neither has any real chance to hold down a regular first-team spot, barring injury to Rafael.

He is indeed the future - but is the present now as well.

I would let Brown pair Evans, Rio, Vidic at CB when need and RB when needed. Unfortunately Neville is past it and would only take a bit part or even move on to a new club.

Rafael is pretty good but I would pick Leonardo or Donatello any day over him. It's too soon to say if his gonna be a big hit!
