Carlos Tevez's future will soon be sorted out, according to the player himself. United still haven't agreed a permanent deal for the Argentinian who was somewhat disappointing this season so far but it's only a matter of time it seems.
'I am calm and I think the club are as well,' he told Argentine newspaper Ole.
'There have been talks and everything is quite advanced, so I think everything will soon be solved.'
'I always stay positive and I feel respected by my colleagues and the coaching staff.'
He went on to add that fighting for his first-team place is natural - he grew up fighting for everything in his life. His tough upbringing in the streets of Buenos Aires has hardened him and minor challenges such as getting his form back should not trouble him overmuch.
His form, by any means, hasn't been good this season. However, if a deal is indeed to be agreed soon, that might act as a real boost for him. With the uncertainty gone, he could flourish once again. In the meantime, I have only one piece of advice - and our other strikers should heed it as well - don't work as hard! Concentrate on attacking duties because we've been blunt up front for a while now...
Tevez could go a long way to solve our problems if he rediscovers his true form... you've got to love his attitude and you've got to hope he'll start performing again as we know he can.
