At Least Our Rivals Are As Bad As We Are

Well, the bad news is that we are average at best this season. Slow in movement and thinking as well, United really need to step up a gear if we are to claim a third successive league title.

The good news is that our rivals are not better than us in the slightest. We can't win away; Chelsea and Liverpool (the latter I still don't consider title rivals to be honest) can't win at home. When we drop points, they drop points as well.

United have the easiest fixture list by far out of the three but if we keep dropping points when we should win, we'll be in trouble. All the big guns have to visit Old Trafford so if we can reproduce the home form of the last two campaigns then we'll be crowned champions again. But big improvement is needed. Insipid 0-0 draws like Saturday's one at White Hart Lane are not the way forward...

On a related question: has the big three got tired of their European dominance? Neither looks good enough to get to a semi-final once again... though Liverpool never looked good enough for that yet somehow they always end up there, quite annoying. So you never know.

I'm just happy we've gotten our most difficult AWAY fixtures out of the way in the first half of the season! Time to really take advantage and catch up and we have a decent home record, so all's looking good.
