Tevez Talks Are Still Going On

One of the papers ran a story about Carlos Tevez, claiming that the Argentinian has signed up for an advert made for United which probably means he's gonna stay as why would he take part in commercial activities if he's set to leave in a few months' time? I don't know if their conclusion is correct but Sir Alex insists that talks are ongoing with the Argentina forward.

'It`s not as if we`re short on negotiations - there have been negotiations. We all know that sometimes that can take a long time, and this one is just going along.'

'David has been talking to his agent and it`s best left to David, he`s good at that. I`m used to this over the years, well used to it. You just have to be patient.'

According to some sections of the media, patient is what Tevez is not. We are led to believe that Carlos does not get enough opportunities and is therefore discontent - it's possible that he's frustrated but as for not getting enough games... stats show that with 21 appearances to his name so far he took part in more matches than anyone in the squad bar Evra (21) and Vidic (22).

True, only 12 of these were starts and he started just six league games, as opposed to Berbatov's and Rooney's 12. Still, his high appearance count shows that Sir Alex is still counting on him and Tevez would be foolish not to realise it.
