Evra 4 Drogba 3 - Sweet FA

Patrice Evra has been banned for four games after the incident with a Chelsea groundsman back in April. Another proof, if any needed, that the FA intends to make an example of United whenever they can.

Letting off other teams lightly and not dealing with incidents severely enough is common practice at the FA but this latest one takes the biscuit. I mean, Pogatetz''s career-threatening injury was deemed to be less violent than squaring up to some racist idiot? Not to mention Morgan''s elbow...

And there''s of course Drogba who threw a coin into the crowd and provoked them with a quite rude hand gesture. That warranted only a three-match ban. Surprise surprise, it''s once again that the Manchester United player who is punished most severely.

The ban will start on Monday 22 December and it''s no coincidence I think that it''s exactly four games. The fourth of these games is against Chelsea - Chelsea, who are always let off with ridiculous punishments despite being serial offenders in failing to control their players.

Oh well.

Like the John Terry's red card being rescinded and Lampard's also in the SAME calendar year! But of course, the FA still LOVE and favor us so we can't complain....

The FA have been waiting for a chance to lay one on us for a LOONG time and this was their opportunity to quash all the "FA always favor United" allegations! It makes me sick!

You are just a bunch of whining babies!
BlueJuggernaut
FU - Terry's and Lamps were both ridiculous and ludacris decision on the refs behalf, and anyone with an iota of common sense culd see tht,but i guess, thts just asking too much of you sorry lot! stop whining, and deal with it!
BlueJuggernaut
'racist idiot' - I see that you came to a learned conclusion that differs from the FA's investigation. They pondered over the evidence and the witness statements, and said that there was no proof of racism. You, on the other hand, on the basis of hearsay and tittle-tattle, can conclude otherwise.

BlueJuggernaut - of course they were ridiculous....says the CHELSEA FAN!

Get any neutral on here and I'm sure 150% they will disagree with you! Mark Halsey was even DEMOTED for the John Terry red card - now THAT'S ridicoulous! J.Terry has a lot of pull in this country it seems!

Evras a moron dont get me wrong, but your spot on. both should have been punished equally and not to do so is crazy

john terry got a way with a 2 footed tackle on sagna and didn't get booked, i hope united are going to appeal this latest decision

lol.. you whiners are pathetic. I do not see Evra complaining, Do I? No! But you "Oh no, Everybody's against United" Supporters MUST talk for evra even though he's a stinking liar. Frankly, I'm surprised it's just 3 matches. If he had just agreed that it was his mistak, I'm sure he'd got away with a hefty fine. End of. But NO! He had to bring Racism in, as it was his easiest way out unscathed, with only a innocent groundsman being framed. Serves him right, silly muppet.
