Nani's Getting His Confidence Back - About Time

Nani believes now that he scored his second goal of the season we'll see much improved performances from him. About time, too.

Nani is like Cristiano Ronaldo 2005. Capable of brilliance but usually just frustrating, mainly because of a tendency to forget about thinking and passing. Dribbles down blind alleys and gets the ball into crowded areas - he needs to think more about his game.

However, Nani puts his problems down to lack of confidence and predicts it will get better.

'It is difficult when you play one match and then miss two or three. But if I want to play here, I must work very hard.

'I have not scored that often but now I am getting my confidence.'

Well, let's see it. Though he's likely to be omitted for the game against Sunderland, he can prove himself again against Aalborg in midweek. Good luck.
