Not content with being named European Footballer of the Year this week, Cristiano Ronaldo has added another prestigious award to his ever-expanding collection.
The Manchester United winger endured a stuttering start to a season disturbed by injury but is now back to his brilliant best and helping to keep the club on course for honours on all fronts.
PFA Deputy Chief Executive, Mick McGuire, on announcing this November's PFA 2Up Fans` Players of the Month in all divisions, had this to say about the November winner in the Premier League....
"Cristiano burst onto the scene, predominantly, two years ago when winning the PFA Players` Player and Young Player of the Year awards.
The following season he scored a massive 42 goals in all competitions and was deservedly named the FIFPro World Player of the Year.
This season, despite early injury problems, he has already amassed nine goals and is beginning to show the same sort of form of the previous two years.
His attributes as a player are immense. He is quick, is a fantastic finisher, he can go either side of defenders, he is great in the air and, more importantly, he is so brave in taking responsibility and receiving the ball in all areas of the pitch."
