A Dream Come True, Says Ronaldo

A Dream Come True, Says Ronaldo

He's won it as we know he would. Cristiano Ronaldo is now officially the best player - not that there were ever any doubts - and he's spoken of his pride after receiving France Football's award.

'It is one of the most beautiful days of my life, something I dreamed of as a child,' he said.

'Great emotion fills me but I cannot really describe it.'

'I was not worried, because I was aware of what I did in the course of the season.

'But to the people who mentioned my name, I say thank you. Thank you also to my team-mates.

'This is one that I want to win again because it is so good.

'Therefore, I will wake and I will say to myself 'I want to be even better'.'

OK, should not be too difficult. Let's see, he's got nine goals to his name this season so it's only 34 to go now and he'll better his tally.
