United Haven't Even Contacted Partizan

With all the rumours flying around about United signing two Serbian 'wonderkids', I felt tempted to write about it and expressed my disbelief that Zoran Tosic, Partizan Beograd's 21-year-old left winger would be really left in the dark if United made contact with his club.

Well, apparently my suspicions were correct as despite the tabloids' assurances that the deal had already been done, it's far from the truth.

'It is not true that Tosic and Ljajic have already signed for Manchester United,' Partizan Beograd's sporting director Ivan Tomic said.

'It is simple, there has been no direct contact or official offer coming from England.

'Of course, it would be nice if they want some of our players, but it's not true.'

So the English press got something wrong? I'm shocked. First time, isn't t? Oh, hold on...
