Fowler Gunning For United!

Let's admit it ... it doesn't take much to get the Scousers spouting off, and now that their goal-shy strikers have actually hit the back of the net ... you can't shut them up!

Robbie Fowler followed up his first goal for Liverpool in over four years by predicting that they can snatch second place from Manchester United.

Liverpool now sit two points behind second-placed United in the Premiership, having played two extra matches.

Fowler: 'We had been getting some bad results, now it is up to us to make up the ground and catch Manchester United. We are confident we can catch them, we are not shouting about it but we believe we can do it.

'The goals we all got against Fulham will just boost that confidence higher. Now we must push on at Newcastle and then Birmingham and build on this in the final games of the season.

'It was a great feeling to finally score for Liverpool again. It's been a long time and I'm happy to be off the mark. There's been a lot of talk about our strikers misfiring and we have answered that now. It wasn't for the want of trying, we'd been getting into positions, but against Fulham it clicked and it was very pleasing.

'First and foremost it was about getting the three points but we got that added bonus of three of the strikers scoring, myself Fernando (Morientes) and Peter (Crouch). It was very pleasing for all concerned, and now we are looking for more in these next two games.'

Fowler is a bakedbean head who has always been arrogant. He was good for 3 years, he might score 10 more goals for Liverpool this season, but just until next season. he is a finisher, but despite the service he needs decent service, and since Liverpool are terrible at that..............
Cookie is god
Yah. just scored 1 goal for 'Foolz and 'Doggie Fouler" started bragging about catching up. Hope that "Live-a-fool" continue their catching up on Manchester United not just this season but also the season after and after... Glory, Glory, Man United!
