Ronaldo - Ever So Modest And Humble!

Now, the fact is that Cristiano Ronaldo is a brilliant player. His qualities are unquestionable and he will surely make a clean sweep of every major individual award in the next few weeks.

However, trumpeting about being spectacularly brilliant is not something that gentlemen do, to be honest. Even if it's true. Asked about who he thought was the best player in the world, our Ronaldo answered modestly.

"I`m the first, the second and the third.

"But there are also good candidates such as Kaka, Messi and Torres. I think I did everything possible to win the prize and I want to carry on the same way.

"My objective is to win every title possible in the future."


He went on to add how much it means to him that Pele lavished praise on him which is also a little embarassing because though Pele was obviously one of the most brilliant players of all time, he tends to spout a lot of rubbish these days. Not quite on the Blatter scale but he's not the best source of balanced opinion. Even though he's got it right this time.

He may be an arrogant tw@, and i for one dont particularly like him but you cant dany he is one of if not the best players around at the moment.

I'd love to think he is misunderstood or misquoted on some of these things, can he really be that big of an arrogant twerp? Maybe..! If he is then it is baffling, he is indeed a very talented player, possibly the best in the world at the moment but that doesn't make him a great of the game, not yet and not if he carries on acting like a *****!

he might be annoying so and so but he is a class player he's cored 101 goals 4 united and that would take players ages 2 do but ronaldo has done in 6 years at united. he will win the european and fifa world player of the year
