Possebon Back In The First-Team Squad

Possebon Back In The First-Team Squad

Rodrigo Possebon will be back in contention for United's first team for the Carling Cup game against QPR tomorrow. The Brazilian midfielder hasn't featured for the first team since Emmanuel Pogatetz almost broke his leg during the team's 3-1 win over Middlesbrough in the 3rd round of said competition.

However, Possebon's injury did not turn out to be serious and he's now fully fit and is expected to start.

"The younger ones who will play will be Jonny Evans, Rodrigo Possebon, Rafael, Darron Gibson, Danny Welbeck - who is back playing now in the Reserves after overcoming injury - and possibly Manucho,' said Fergie.

'The rest of the team will be filled by the first team squad."

"There`s absolutely no problem with the boy [Possebon] now. We did worry at the time, but fortunately he was OK."

So what can we expect? I'd go for this line-up:

oster - Rafael, Evans, Ferdinand, O'Shea - Park, Gibson, Possebon, Nani - Welbeck, Tévez

This should be enough to see off the richest club in the world... or is that Man City now?
