Fergie Charged... Again

Fergie Charged... Again

Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the FA following his behaviour against Mike Dean who was refereeing the clash between United and Hull at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Fergie had to be restrained by Gary Neville after the final whistle as he did not hide his displeasure about Dean's performance. The ref reported the incident and the FA charged the boss who has until November 19 to respond.

While I basically agree with Fergie about Dean who gave Hull a penalty which never was and did not send off Michael Turner who would have deserved it, it was somewhat foolish to lose control like that, what with his previous record - I'm speaking about the touchline ban he received after allegedly insulting Mark Clattenburg at Bolton last year.

Hopefully, it will not come to this. And Fergie is old enough to know better, and more importantly, he's old enough to know that the FA rarely misses a chance to punish United so we should not supply them with ammunition.
