Drogba Is Only A Little Girl
Didier Drogba was sent off in the Champions League final in May, three minutes from the end of extra time. Any sensible observer would agree that his - quite ridiculous - slap on Vidic deserved a dismissal but he feels wronged.
'I have seen the match on video and I believe I should not have been sent off with three minutes to go.
'If I had punched him, I would have understood. Now I wish I had.'
Let's face it, Didier: you're either a A) sneaky little scumbag who wanted to show what a big guy he is but did not want to risk being sent off or B) you were simply afraid to hit Vidic which we all understand: neither of us would like to do it.
But really, acting like you were such a tough guy? We all know that you're a diving little primadonna. At least Ronaldo does not go around claiming he should have hit someone - and doesn't make himself look a stupid little girl by slapping someone in the face then talking out of his arse.
The FA are apparently looking into it but it does not warrant a punishment. It is just not serious enough. It's like punishing a specky 10-year-old kid who believes he's Rambo and goes around shooting everyone with a toy gun.

Hmmn. A pointless discussion because Vidic was begging to be punched and Drogba shouldn't have reacted the way he did. Professionals may get angry but it's never smart to pull that crap in a CL final, no matter how heated. As a Chelsea supporter, I can laugh off the DD and JT taunts. It's what you Mancs are supposed to do. As for the assertion that DD is a girl because he was "afraid" to hit Vidic, well, that's plain silly. Both are arrogant and stupid enough to go at it like children, I'm sure.

Ronaldo is the prospective World Player of the Year. What has Drogba achieved and his wages are probably higher than 90% if not more of the players in the PL. Ronaldo deserves all the money he gets.

This is all playground stuff. I've seen more intelligent comment on the Website of the Ku Klux Klan. "He's a Chelsea player therefore he's an idiot". If it was the other way round I would have treated the comment with contempt at best. Of course Drogba was stupid and I for one am getting sick of the way he behaves as there should be no one player bigger than the club. (United fans seem to worship Ronaldo even though he wants to go) You have to admit Drogba is a mere apprentice in the diving stakes compared to your saint who does'nt seem to need anyone around him to make the most brilliant of dives. Chelsea fans booed Drogba for his persistant diving, would the same happen to Ronaldo. I thought not.
Plus Vidic by his own admission was pretty stupid saying

Well said, tjay. It's awfully convenient of Manc fans to avoid the subject of what incited DD's reaction in the first place: Vidic. DD gets villainized and insulted and it's not that simple. ForeverUntied: I've never heard anyone call athe African Player of the Year Award "decent," but if that's how you feel I won't bother trying to change your mind. But no, it isn't the Ballon d'Or, which has more prestige. And here I am digressing because you changed the subject. We were talking about what DD has achieved in support of his pay. He's was the EPL top scorer in 06-07 (usually that's enough to warrant top pay!), African Player of the Year, scored innumerable HUGE goals in important matches such as the winner against United in the FA Cup final, and is widely considered one of the very top strikers in the world. I'm not saying he deserves the Ballon d'Or but his pay shouldn't be in question. You lack information, as he's not even close to being the highest paid player at Chelsea, which is actually one of the reasons he wanted out a while back--how could he of all people make less than Shevchenko? Rio Ferdinand makes considerably more than DD--and what awards has he won? See my point? Value shouldn't be based on the awards you get but rather on your contribution. Football is more than a stats and numbers game.

As much as i hate Chelski I will accept that Vidic deserved a punch. And yes DD is a little girl he should have grown a pair and punched him instead of slapping him or held it in. Saying that it should have been a punch shows that he knew what to do but his balls hadn't dropped enough for him to go for it with a closed fist.

If he doesn't punch Vidic, he's a girl. If he does, he's a thug and a cheat. It's better he didn't punch Vidic or there would be serious disciplinary action taken in such a high-profile game at the CL final. Everyone watches it. I'm glad he didn't hit Vidic for that reason alone. No question Vidic deserved it.
