Fergie Will Sign Messi Or Torres

Fergie Will Sign Messi Or Torres

Sir Alex is pretty confident that Ronaldo will win Ballon d'Or. He even made some rash promises!

'Cristiano will win both player of the year awards, I am sure of it - if he doesn't, I want to sign the guy who does," he said.

Well, who can win the Ballon d'Or and the FIFA World Player of the Year award if not Ronaldo? Only two candidates can come close and it would be an absolute travesty if either of them won it - not to mention the other nominees.

These two are Lionel Messi and Fernando Torres who should come second a third - but distant second and third from Ronaldo.

But the world is mad and they could still win it. After all, Steven Gerrard is somehow on the list every year and Rio Ferdinand somehow did not make it which is insane, considering that players like Zhirkov and Pepe are there...

So, Fergie could still be forced to plead to the Glazers to put in massive bids for Messi or Torres... but if there's any common sense left in the world then Ronaldo wins it.

This Balon d'Or thing is absolutely boring. Voted by stupid journalists so we really shouldn't care about it

Ronaldo is a polarizing figure. He gets goals, no one can deny that. Then again, plenty of people see him for the talented but sneaky diver that he is. I'm sure some pundits enjoyed the apparent hurricane-forced breeze created by Lampard's foot when it was two feet away and yet Ronaldo nosedived to the ground like an Olympic diver. Perfect 10. Give him the gold. Give him the Balon d'Or. We all love the spectacle of a cheat at the height of his powers. Wink wink.

If Ronaldo didnt win both awards, it'd be really stupid. Can't win World Player of the Year and not Ballon d'Or. Messi hasnt led Barca to any trophies of late. It'd be crazy if Ronaldo didnt sweep these awards

Torres dives? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Talk about pot and kettle. Anyone goes within a yard of Ronaldo and he throws himself on the floor and does that crying, whingy face that he does, like when 2 year olds get their dummy taken from them. He does however deserve to win the Balon d'Or as he was unbelievable last season. His dive on Saturday on the touchline against West Brom when no player was within 2 yards of him was typical of him. I dont know why he cheats as he doesnt need to.

He should be embarassed about his diving but he's got no shame. Plenty of footballing class but no shame, and it's impossible to completely respect a guy like that. When he leaves for Madrid it'll only get worse, I'm sure.
