'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Secret Of Ryan Giggs

Ryan Giggs revealed what is the key of his longevity on the top level: and it is not very difficult.

'It takes hard work and a lot of dedication. You've got to have a lot of talent and longevity.

'Eat the right foods; don't go out partying and drinking - listen to your coaches and always maintain that same hunger even when you become successful.'

A few methods would not go amiss about how you should do this last thing... but never mind. Giggs also insists that you've got to have a 'carpe diem' philosophy in football.

'In most cases in sport you live a short career so you have to make the most of it while you can.'

'I remember when I was 11 years old, playing for my local team Salford Boys and they had an A and a B team; I didn't get picked for the A team and had to make do with the B team.

'So I was determined to prove them wrong. I scored six goals and earned my place in the A team.'
