The Right Result - Blackburn 0-1 Man Utd

BLACKBURN ROVERS v MANCHESTER UNITED - Ince whinge

Saturday 4 October 2008

Blackburn Rovers and referee Steve Bennett confirmed their early season status as Right Result regulars with both parties involved in RR incidents for the third game this term.

Meanwhile, Manchester United can have little complaint with officialdom as they were on the favourable end of refereeing decisions for the second week in a row.

Rovers boss and former Reds favourite Paul Ince described United`s opener at Ewood Park as a 'diabolical decision`. That`s maybe on the harsh side but it could be seen - from behind the goal - that Blackburn keeper Jason Brown was impeded by Nemanja Vidic`s elbow before Wes Brown netted.

The Right Result is a 1-0 win to Manchester United.

Of course the right result!!!Very hard to compete with you with those referees on your side, it is getting ridiculous.I can understand when it happens 1 or 2 times in 6 games but not 5 times in 6 games.Sry guys, it is obvious that something is not right up there and dont try to justify whether you deserved the calls because you played better or not. Games are won by goals and if you did not score first nothing opens up.

We have calls go against us, nobody seems to notice those though...

No, but really? 1-0 to United? THE right result? The right result, in fact, should have been something like 5-0 or 6-0. In terms of taking the goal off then yeah, you can make 1-0, but in reality, you can't just say it would have been 1-0 if that goal hadn't stood. United were never going to lose that game, and if they hadn't have gone ahead, they'd have kept pressing, and you can't say they wouldn't have got even more.

Absolutely incorrect. Vidic was standing on his spot and jumped for the ball the keeper was a yard or two away from Vidic when the ball was kicked he run towards Vidic and they collided. No offense by Vidic. Ff there was any offence it was the keeper jumping on Vidic' back. Yes Vivic' elbow hit the goalie but it was the goalie who was moving forward and attacking Vidic. Absolutely correct decision by the ref.
