It's Hargreaves's Knee, Again

Owen Hargreaves will miss Manchester United's Champions League clash at Aalborg tomorrow. You surely guessed the reason: his recurring knee injury.

The midfielder's United career hasn't really got going and he did not fulfil the expectations since his big-money move from Bayern. His tendonitis problem is stubborn and refuses to disappear.

Some time ago Hargreaves revealed that he finally felt himself at 100% and ready to justify his price tag. But these vows are looking increasingly like Louis Saha's promises that he would return better and stronger than ever - hollow.

The Frenchman could never really endear himself and prove his abilities because of his injury record and there's a real danger that the same would happen to Hargreaves whose occasional impressive performances are quickly put in the shade by another spell on the sidelines.

If there's something the medical team can do, even a surgery that would rule him out for months, do it because the current situation benefits no one.

It's getting quite frustrating considering he said before the start pf the season, the knee problems will be behind him this season!

Injuries have been a problem with him for so long. Sort of makes you wonder how he passed a medical though?

Really like the player, but he is too much of a tampon, one week in, three weeks out!
