'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Return For Giuseppe Rossi

I am still not sure if it was the right thing to sell Giuseppe Rossi. Granted, he wanted first-team football and we now have a brilliant array of attackers. But still: the boy is a natural finisher, a great talent and it would have been great to see him develop into a top striker at Old Trafford.

He developed into one, but at Villarreal, the team that visit Old Trafford on Wednesday night. But they'll be without Rossi who is still struggling with a thigh injury. Nihat Kahveci is also out so the opposition's strikeforce will be far from full strength.

However, as we lost to a team with a strike partnership of Kuyt and Keane we cannot afford to relax...
