Hargreaves Is A Major Doubt

Hargreaves Is A Major Doubt

It looks certain that Owen Hargreaves will miss tomorrow's showdown at Anfield as he's still struggling with his seemingly ever-present tendonitis problem. The midfielder hasn't made a competitive appearance yet this season.

There are good news as well: Michael Carrick could be back in contention, along with Anderson. The big question of course is whether Dimitar Berbatov will start but it looks likely that he will.

About Liverpool: both Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres are declared fit for the game. The latter is no surprise but Gerrard was said to be definitely out of this game... though it does not matter. Stats tell me he played against us last season at Anfield but I can't really remember it.

Oh, I've just realised why not. He spent the game in Anderson's pocket.

Hasn't Fergie just said he is fit along with Carrick?
