'Toughest Away Game This Season'

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson knows his team were well short of their best at the JJB, and was brave enough to say it was an unfair result.

Ferguson: 'That was a very important one. I don't think we've had a harder game away from home this season.

'Wigan were absolutely brilliant and made us fight really hard. They were terrific and did not deserve that result.'
