Huntelaar Deal Off

Not long ago I argued that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is simply not good enough for the Premiership, and that's why no one has taken him yet. So I'm not too disappointed by the latest news about him.

It's a boring summer so far all right so we have plenty of time to discuss things like this, even though the only news in this case is that his agent insisted United had made no move for the Dutchman.

'For him, United is a club that is interesting, but unless a suitable club come in for him, he will be at Ajax next season,' Arnold Oosterveer said in the Daily Mirror.

'There has been no contact between Ajax and United, or United and myself.

'We won't speak to Ajax any more about a new contract because they wanted to put a new clause in it, but he has two years to go.'

I somehow don't feel that Fergie wants him. Call me stupid if I'll be proved wrong.

Nah mate, he'd be a great signing, I'm sure he's good enough for the Premiership.
Gapi
exactly, i am sure every top club would want huntelaar in their side.

couldn't disagree more with this article. I hope someone in the premiership land him.
los_angeles_villan
works harder than Berbatov. He's a tosser and a whiner.

Kuyt and Kezman... Two examples of great players in the Dutch League. Players moving directly from Holland to England rarely find the transition easy. The money would be big and Sir Alex would probably rather spend the money on a safe bet who is established at the very top.
The_Legend_Of_Zola
that's a shame he's a awesome playa it could be paper talk at the end of the day
matth01
if every top side would want him, why is he still at ajax?

WE NEED TO SIGN SOMEONE :| all this players and coaches leaving is making me sad lol need some good news
Reddevils4ever89
didnt need him anyway. whos next to go for?
wimp2k7
He isnt as good as Nistlerooy and plays a very similar way. You got rid of Horse face then won the league I can see why you would want him personally...

How do those quotes suggest the deal is off? All it means is that we havent given them a concrete offer yet. The interest is certainly there, even the player himself said it. I was sceptical at first, but researching a bit more into the lad i think its worth the rumoured 15-20 million to get him here. Obviosly, I would prefere berbatov..but thats looking unlikely at the moment. I for one am still confident the deal will go through; and contrary to everyone else on here, i think these quotes actualy suggest a deal could be fothcoming.

"Not good enough for the Premiership?" lol, if you think that, it's obvious you are clueless about what makes a good striker.
jouster
He's a quality striker, "not good enough for the prem" ffs benjani finished 5th top scorer last season, i think huntelaar would fit in at old trafford perfectly there's no bull***** about him just an honest committed player.
