'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Santa Cruz But Berbatov May Come

Paul Ince started his Blackburn job in bullish fashion: he told Sir Alex that Roque Santa Cruz is not for sale even though the gaffer never said he wanted to go for the Paraguayan.

'If he asks me about Roque then I'll tell him he's not having him,' said Ince who would be prepared to let Bentley go, though.

It might be a 'blow' for Fergie (as the tabloids described it) but rumours say that a move for Berbatov seems likely. Personally, I thought he would rather go to Spain or Italy, with Spurs reluctant sell to another English club.

Other vague rumours were about Lukas Podolski - would be strange to sign a fringe player from Bayern Munich - and sadly, there was no mention of Andriy Arshavin who could do very well for United I think.

Mikael Silvestre's move to Rome (or Bordeaux) is in jeopardy and it was even suggested that the player himself would prefer to stay. Stay, then, Mikael - unlike a lot of other United fans, I still think you're useful as a squad player.

Oh, and Wesley Sneijder won't come to United as part of the Ronaldo deal. No surprise there.

Give us 20m plus Foster and you have a deal. Pleasure doing business.
Real Deal
you cant have foster or the 20 million. you can have 15 million and chris eagles.

im not silvestre's biggest fan, but if we got rid of him we would be short of cover at left back, with o'shea the only capable to replace paddy evra.

I must say, I think Man U are the antichrist - but if the only way Huntelaar comes to the Prem is to play for you lot then I really hope you sign him. I'd love to watch him play week in and week out. Cheers.

Really, REALLY wouldn't want Berba!! He should pleeaase stay away from United. He doesnt fit our style of play
ForeverUnited

Tosswink

So the Dong deal is on?
Tosswink
Hehe, I totally forgot we still had Dong.

You really should go for Huntelaar! He is exactly what you need!
oranje_emu
hoping saha can get fit

berbatov is one great player, his first touch and footballing brain are second to none, he'd be a great acquisition. i'm just not sure he's exactly what our team is looking for, he's quite lazy for one and he gets extremely mardy which is not ideal for team morale. im kinda skeptical over his price too, i think spurs would milk as much as possible.

Hope Saha can stay. And instead of Podolski-- Schweinsteiger. Both would be nice because they link up so well but I think that's a bit too much to ask
fobioh
just think united need another quality striker.
