Ouch!

The Fixtures are out, and though we are not able to bring you the entire list (for some stupid reason) we CAN reveal that United have a mammoth start.

United'S first game is against newly-found whipping boys Newcastle at Old Trafford, but with expectations at St.James' Park very high, I think we can expect a difficult match.

Next up, we visit Pompey....a ground where we haven't had the best of luck in recent years. Portsmouth are a good team.

United then have a temporary breather with Fulham at home before SUCCESSIVE away matches to Liverpool and Chelsea respectively.

Well, a very tough start then. But could it be a blessing in disguise? Whatever happens, we have shown last season that we can win despite a poor start and though our first five fixtures look tough on paper, I'm gunning for 15 points!

I cant wait for next season....BRING IT ON!!!!

Newcastle home should be a win, as well as Fulham home. But the three away games... nightmare.

An easy start against Newcastle. A good hammering could see Keegan resigning after one game!

A good start is vital to a winning campaign ..... you guys got it tough. However, if we can maintain a challenge right up until the end we have the potnetial to win or lose it right at the last with Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool in our last 6 games ... scary but exciting stuff!

I REALLY HATE our first five fixtures! Also considering that we have the Super Cup on a friday and PL game on a SATURDAY....seems a bit harsh! Also doesnt help that we play Liverpool and Chelsea bac to back! Having said that, the earlier we play them, the better for us!

look on the bright side - imagine what a win at cesspool and abnother at stamford bridge to end the run will do for our confidence. the more i think about it, the better this set-up probably is - we showed last season we can come back from apoor start - arsenal showed how you can be affected with a poor end.
