United And Two Other Clubs Agree Ramsey Fee

As Vital have already reported to you, United were on the verge of completing a deal for Aaron Ramsey. The fee has been agreed but the signing of the teenager is not certain.

What we do know is that United and Everton both had bids accepted. Reports suggest a third, as yet unnamed club have also reached an agreement with Cardiff for the Welshman - it is either Liverpool or Arsenal by the tabloids' reckonings.

The Mirror, one of the least credible papers in Britain, believes we have already secured the youngster - but they'd claimed that before and yet the fee has been agreed only now.

Still, Ramsey is expected to come to Old Trafford soon, in order to negotiate personal terms and undergo a medical. All sources so far say he's likely to choose United - but we only know too well how many things can go wrong in a transfer saga. But at least we do not have to put up with Peter Kenyon.

I've heard a lot about Aaron Ramsey, but I havent seen him play. What kind of player is he? Dribbler? Tactician? Passer? Is he really worth all this trouble?
alexpant
Passer...some tactics... only 17 though so has room to improve.

Some people will never be happy until we can only sign players whose surnames end in vowels - and not sometimesvowels like 'Y'.
