Anderson: We Are The Kings

Very few expected Anderson to make such a stunning impact at Old Trafford in his first season. The Brazilian was thought to be an attacking midfielder who can play up front and on the wing - yet he played regularly as a defensive midfielder and did brilliantly there.

His passing and tackling is of the highest class though he obviously needs experience and maturity. But he's one for a brilliant future and his appetite is far from satisfied by the small matter of winning the Premier League and the Champions League in his very first season at United.

'The season was enormous for me,''I never believed I would play in so many matches and win the two titles.

'To be a European champion so young is not easy for a man like me. Now I need to continue working for next season to improve my level in this club.

'Manchester United is the best club in the world and I want to be in the XI in every match. We are the kings in Europe and England without doubt.'

Without a doubt, as you say, my dear fellow.

by the way why did Anderson not play in any of the last few games (apart from Champs League shoot-out)? i was surprised

I think Fergie just decided to go for the experience of Scholes,Carrick and Hargreaves in a pressurised run in.Well,Carrick only had the experience from last year but all in all we ended up with the title and the European Cup so i'm not going to go clutching at straws.I also think he should have played more but who the hell am I to question Fergie. He see the players every day in training and he's brought us continued success.CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE...AGAIN.
