'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Behold The Champions Of Europe!

We have done it! Manchester United have won the Champions League again. A thrilling game with Chelsea hitting the post twice and United missing unmissable chances (Carrick, Tevez twice and Giggs).

But don't expect rational analysis from me now. Ronaldo missed his penalty after playing very well, Terry slipped and Anelka's spot-kick was terrible - and it was enough.

And, in case you didn't notice, it was Ryan Giggs who had struck home United's last penalty. In this sense he won the trophy for us the way he won the Premier League at Wigan.

There is that second European Cup that Fergie craved so much. Is this his best ever team? I don't know but this team is the BEST OF EUROPE at the moment. Nothing else matters, as Metallica sang.

Tomorrow, you can expect detailed report but for now: GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!!!

Well done. A bit jammy on the shoot out, but teams need it to win it.
Real Deal
congratulations, fairly hard fought match, nothing between the two of you. Thought some of the play acting on both sides was a disgrace but hey ho! Was VERY pleased to see Giggs score his penalty, think the dude is a legend, was delighted Ronaldo missed his in fairness, that show boating style is pathetic and he deserved nothing from it. As a neutral, not a bad game at all apart from the petty diving!! If I was Sir Al now, I'd step down a legend, trouble is he's addicted isn't he?!?
The Fear
YES UNITED =D WEVE WON IT 3 TIMES!!

The things you read on the chelsea site.... "Ronaldo was crying like a baby..." " We dominated the game! So lucky MAN U"... its like we were never on that field...like you never created more, and clear cut chances than their super lucky goal that changed everything...
