Rooney And Vidic Are Fit

Rooney And Vidic Are Fit

Nemanja Vidic and Wayne Rooney look set to feature at Wigan Athletic as United aim to secure back-to-back titles.

United had countless injury problems throughout the season but losing these key players at such a crucial time could have proved absolutely fatal. Fortunately the squad proved its worth and now we are set to welcome both players back.

Vidic is still suffering because of Drogba's knee that knocked one of his teeth out at Stamford Bridge but should be ready to play at the JJB. His knee injury is of course only distant memory now.

Rooney's hip problems might not have come to an end but he got through a training session unscathed today. After missing United's last three games he is set to play some part, even if he is to start only on the bench.

Everybody else is fit, apart from perennial sicknote Louis Saha...
