Wigan Will Be Tough Opponents, Says Giggs

Wigan Will Be Tough Opponents, Says Giggs

As the season is winding down to a close, the top two is deadlocked on points with only the goal difference giving United the edge. We must win at Wigan to claim back-to-back titles but they will do us no favours, according to Ryan Giggs.

Giggs, target of much, mostly deserved, criticism all season, turned in a superb cameo performance against West Ham on Saturday and he might be called upon at the JJB to ensure nerves won't dominate our football.

'It's going to be a tough game. Wigan have got some decent players. They showed that when they played Chelsea and got a draw.

'But no matter what happens with Chelsea, it's still in our hands and we've got to be professional and do our job.'

Yeah, he's singing all the right songs. Hopefully he'll be doing all the right things, too cause were we to lose the title at Wigan of all places I don't think I could bear it.
