Cristiano Ronaldo stands on the verge of yet another accolade after breaking the 800-point barrier in the Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League.

The Manchester United starlet is currently 95 points ahead of second-placed Emmanuel Adebayor in the race to be crowned this season`s Actim Player of the Season.

Ronaldo earned another 52 points after a brace helped see off West Ham 4-1 last weekend and leave his side on course to retain the Premier League trophy.

Michael Carrick was also named in the Team of the Week; his 32-point haul helped him climb 13 places to 57th overall, one of 10 United players in the top 100.

Analysis of all Premier League games is taking place throughout the season and the players in the Actim Index Team of the Week are:

Name Team Position Weekly Score

Radek Cerny, Tottenham Hotspur, Goalkeeper, 22
Chris Riggott, Middlesbrough, Defender, 38
