Congratulations Chelsea - Especially Mr. Lampard

Congratulations Chelsea - Especially Mr. Lampard

Chelsea almost blew it by being much, much poorer in the second half than they were in the first when Liverpool had no answer to their strength. Yet they're through, and deservedly so.

I was actually hoping Frank Lampard would score that penalty. He had the courage, the nerve to play in this game - after the death of his mother, even that is admirable. And he did not shun the responsibility to take the penalty - even though nobody would have blamed him for it, especially given how coolly Ballack struck home another one on Saturday (curse him).

I'm not a fan of Lampard but today he's showed he's very, very strong. All hats off to him, it was a wonderful sporting moment, one of those moving things that makes this whole thing so special.

And now I'm really looking forward to our double duel for the league and the Champions League!

Well written Zae.Hats off to Lampard...balls of steel.I'm not a fan of his either but it nearly brought a tear to my eye watching him whip out that armband.I'm sure his father is a proud man right now.Fair play and credit where it's due.

So, out of my own perverted amusement, if we could share the spoils, ie premership goes one way europe the other, what would you have and why?
