Leo Messi talks to www.icons.com exclusively about the dangers posed by Cristiano Ronaldo, his friendship with Carlos Tevez and how he sees tonight's Old Trafford tie unfolding.

'Ronaldo is amazing, one of the best players in the world. Not only is he a great goalscorer, but also very skilful. I didn`t feel sorry for him over his penalty miss because, if he had scored, Barca might have lost the match. You tend to think Ronaldo will always score.

'I`m sure if United were to win a penalty he would take it. Maradona scored lots of penalties during his career, even after missing some. It`s logical for players to miss penalties. Nobody is perfect.

'I don't have anything to say about United's tactics in the first leg. United have to think about United and we have to think about Barcelona. They have a great team with a lot of danger players. Ronaldo, Tevez, Rooney… and there are more. The whole team is very good.

'I don't agree with those who say our defence isn't good enough to stop United scoring in the second leg. We think we can win the match based both on our defence and our strengths going forward.'
