'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fergie happy with new deals (AUDIO)

Pundits, fans and experts alike are all saying the same thing - it's United's title to lose. Chelsea's failure to gain maximum points in the week means Fergie's men can even afford to lose next week at Stamford Bridge but retain the ascendancy in the title run should they avoid dropping points at Blackburn first.

Ewood Park has been a tricky ground for United in the past, with a David Bentley hat-trick two years ago capping a league double for Rovers.

But Sir Alex Ferguson has been boosted with the news that a trio of his players have committed to the club. Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick and Wes Brown all signed this morning, ending months of speculation, especially around the England right back.

Despite the news, Ferguson remains fully focused on Mark Hughes' side, and admits they still have some work to do in order to clinch the title.
