Hot Hargreaves

Owen Hargreaves chose the perfect moment to notch his best score of the season in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League, as Manchester United took a step nearer to retaining their title.

The England international netted a stunning free-kick to earn United a 2-1 victory over Arsenal at Old Trafford, registering a season-high 34 points in the process.

It lifted Hargreaves up 26 places to 164th with 215 points and joined team-mate Wes Brown in being named in the Team of the Week.

Cristiano Ronaldo remains top of the Index with 742 points while Carlos Tevez is the other United player in the top 10, the Argentina striker sitting eighth with 522 points.

Analysis of all Premier League games is taking place throughout the season and the players in the Actim Index Team of the Week are:

hargreaves reminds me a bit like vidic in terms of settling in 2 the tea because remember when vidic was in the team the fans were unsure of him but now he's a cult hero and i think hargreaves will just do that at his time at united :D
