March's Best: Ronaldo and Fergie

Cristiano Ronaldo has a lot to thank to Sir Alex Ferguson - and the manager has reason to be grateful to Ronaldo as the increasing number of his manager of the month awards are largely down to his scintillating winger.

The pair landed the 'double' again, being voted as the best in their respective professions for the month March. They deserved it as United won all their league games in the past month, rocketing to the top of the table. Ronaldo scored five in four games while Fergie kept chopping and changing to great effect.

It is the 21st time the wily old Scot won the award while Ronaldo has been voted best of the month for the 4th time. I think I can safely say that there are more awards to come!
