Totti Won't Play On Wednesday

Francesco Totti is not expected to play at Old Trafford on Wednesday as Roma aim to shock the Champions.

We hold a 2-0 advantage from the first leg and on the back of 10 consecutive home wins in the Champions League it looks unlikely that Roma can pull it off. And now their inspirational captain reveals he won't be back in time from injury.

"I will not be there in Manchester, I will not play at Old Trafford," he said.

Much has been made of how his absence cost Roma in the first leg but it has been blown out of proportion I think. Totti played all four games against us before Tuesday's clash - and did not make an impression in any of them, apart from providing an assist to De Rossi at Old Trafford, with the scoreline at 6-0...

I don't think he'll make a difference. I can't see you losing to Roma at the Old Trafford!

He was Golden Boat last year. Not past it at all and without him Roma aren't anything like the same. It's like Chels without Drogba, United without Ronaldo, Liverpool without Gerrard...

I dunno, if Rio is out with Vidic. The back 4 will be a bit on the weak side. Pique should still play though. Juve are sniffing around and that surely can't be good. If United win on wednesday it wont be by much.

I would think that your defense got quite a bit of Fergie's hairdryer treatment after the match. Only Ferdinand was really there today. Brown and O Shea were poor and a few times were caught ball watching. Evra was ok but not at his best - not much came down his side anyway.
