Hargreaves Is Indeed Important

I questioned why Fergie bought Hargreaves if he does not give him the chance to excel in the biggest games. However, the boss is counting on him.

There were some rumours that there are problems with Hargreaves: to be precise, he just can't turn up in time for training and that's something that we know to seriously annoy Fergie.

The boss did not confirm or deny that though must have at least heard about the speculation. However, he praised Hargreaves after his substitute appearance against rome.

'In many ways he changed the pattern of the game for us the other night.

'He did a fantastic job when he came on and he will be involved again on Sunday.'


'Sunday' means Middlesbrough, the most perverse team in the Premiership: they can regularly pull it off against the big boys but get stuffed by the likes of Wigan. And we have to win...
